Newport!

One of my favorite times of the year is our annual Newport trip because the whole family (immidiate) meets there and we go every year so it is farmiliar and we can just lay back and enjoy the week! We went this year at the very end of May/beg of June so it was a little warmer then usual (March)...kind of! It was a blast and I can't wait till next years! ...

Here are some random pictures from the trip! (of course mostly just Dylan! haha)



Dylan of course, obsessed with Basketball and everything about it managed to spot the basketball court at the resort (sitting on a hill above the playground.. I was trying so hard to distract him from looking up there).. Ran up the stairs to play! Of course this is WAY to big for him but he sure tried his best to play like all the big people he was probably bothering!!


His next favorite thing is climbing up hills! I can't take him to any park with a basketball court nearby and any other park I take him to he totally ignores the giant toy and just runs up and down the hills... boring!!

Our favorite place to go every year is Balboa Island. We always go to Ruby's diner on the pier!

Dylan was WAY to tired to play on the beach, he slept on me (not as comfortable as it may appear..for me atleast) from the moment we got there until we left... talk about a party!!! Oh and totally awkward sun burn lines from not moving an inch the entire time!

We brought a hoop from home to entertain the kids while we were in the hotel room.. and that it did! I guess Dylan thought he might do better at eye level with the basket!!

DISNEYLAND day! Even though we were all very sunburned and exhausted from the days before!!
He loved Disneyland although couldn't really enjoy it to it's fullest because he was WAY to tired and couldn't nap there very well! But on the plus side he got to meet his favorite people... Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Characters! (This was the only show he'd ever sit through before this trip) So here he is with Mickey (of course they got the good shot of him smiling that we didn't wanna pay for .. ha) and Pluto! He gave Pluto a big kiss right after this picture but we missed the shot:(

Back at the Hotel in his new souvenier hat (Thanks to Gma Ethington for the cute Disney shirts for Christmas!:)

He soon became obsessed with his cousin Parker's light sabre!
